Edwardian Dressing Table
This delicate Edwardian dressing table was sourced to order for a client, who had decided it was time to stop sitting on the floor to do her makeup!
After deciding on a colour scheme of rich mustard yellow with navy and gold accents, all the drawer fronts were sanded back to preserve the fine inlaid walnut parquetry. Next, an ambitiously curved design was applied, and the contrasting navy layers added to give dimension. The inner rim of the mirror was picked out in gold, along with the supports and moulded edging. Finally, all the hardware was gilded and contrasting floral drawer linings added.
