McIntosh of Kirkcaldy Sideboard
This dinky mid-century McIntosh of Kirkcaldy sideboard was commissioned from my stock, and given a top- to-toe transformation! Using an eye-popping combination of bright azure blue and hot pink, the custom- taped, Aztec-inspired design was applied before being painstakingly edged in gold. Striking lines were drawn on top, continuing down each side, to create a full 360 effect. Finally, new solid brass hexagonal hardware was added, along with new gold legs, and fun yellow geometric drawer linings to complete the look.
